What Is Hidden Glow™?

Hidden Glow™ is FUNLAB's signature lighting technology. When a controller is powered off it looks like a clean, solid-colour design piece — but the moment the RGB lighting turns on, an intricate pattern emerges from deep within the shell. The design is hidden until lit.

How it works: IMD in-shell printing

Unlike ordinary controllers where artwork is printed or stickered on the surface (and eventually peels or fades), Hidden Glow patterns are created with IMD (In-Mould Decoration) — the same process used in premium automotive and consumer-electronics finishes. The pattern is embedded inside the plastic layers of the shell, so it can never scratch or wear off. By day it stays subtle; under the RGB lighting it lights up from within.

A dual-state design

Hidden Glow gives every controller two personalities: blank by day, lit by night. You decide when the pattern is seen — a clean look for everyday play, a dramatic glow when you want to show it off.

FAQ

Does the lighting stay on all the time? No — the pattern only appears when the RGB lighting is on. Powered off, the controller looks like a clean solid-colour unit.

Will the pattern wear off? No. Because it is moulded inside the shell with IMD, it cannot scratch, peel or fade like a printed or stickered design.
